Hello out there!
Eczema since I was 2yrs and am now 53 and dealing with a few horrid episodes on my hands and face. The outbreaks are severe and are lasting a period of 1-2yrs at a time, gosh I wish I had enjoyed the eczema free years!!!!!!!!!! Stress?? Who doesn't deal with it but unfortunately, this is my blueprint and much like an old dog, it can't be taught a new trick to treat! Now, to add to this excitment, ta da....warts! Vitamin A worked years ago and am about to dose up..will keep you all posted..Happy Happy, Joy Joy.

I have exczema on the inside of my elbows. I have a cream for it and it works really well. But, about 3 months ago I noticed some bumps developping on the area of my exczema. I went to the doctor and she told me they were warts. I tried to get an appointment with the dermatologist but the only available spot was in April. So, I am still waiting. I have removed one wart before just by " popping" it because it was quite large. Good luck to everyone else who has these problems.

All eczema based warts will come back, sad to say. mine have been frozen for years and more come back. your body is in a constant fight against itself with immune response issues, so warts are easily picked up. Also, most doctors give you steroids to take and this is used to suppress your immune system to help your eczema not come up as it is basically a reaction to an antagonist, natural or environmental and so warts are free to grow as the please, and often much quicker and spread to large areas. Once i stopped taking all the steroid pills and cream and many months of Tuck tape and gloves, will many many itchy nights and barely able to work due to the cracking and embarrassment of explaining why i had to wear gloves- well it did remove most of the warts. now, years later, they are coming back, most likely due to stress issues current. so that being said, try to keep a healthy body and eat lots of Love and just learn to manage it, as it is now a part of you.

Hi i have suffered the painful hand and foot and nail eczema now 4 10 years...i have used all creams and UV treatment in the hospital...nothing works 4 me except filing down gentally the flaked dry skin to even out the surface and avoid it catching on material things and ripping like bad hang nails and using Aveeno lotion, or the genaric version...equate! i avoided hand activitied to leessen the pain but we now have a baby...8mnths old and because i have to constantly bath her, hold her and change her diapers it is getting much worst? what should i do wear gloves?? Has anyone tried vitamins or anything on their own like food change etc...something that a doctor hasnt recommended u may have disovered on ur own that may work? im wondering if the actual cure for us all is a certain food that gives us eczema that we eat? if they cant find a cure maybe its a different allergy to a different food we all have? thats why their is not one cure cuse its something different 4 us all? anyone think this may also be?

Hi,
Just wanted to share. Husband has had eczema for years on legs. Spent hundreds on RX creams. Friend told me about Tea Tree Oil last week. Have used for 5 consecutive days and its almost gone. Redness/dry flakes all gone. Now trying on my daughters wart that the DR's haven't been able to cure for 3 YRS! 2nd day of tree oil and it looks like it's drying out and dying. Thank God.

I had success with garlic and 2 large warts on my hand and leg. I cut a tiny hole in a plaster and pushed the wart through it so only that was showing. this avoids the garlic burning normal skin and it can only work on the wart. Then put a thin slice of garlic on top of the wart and another plaster on top. After 10 days this huge wart (half and inch) came away, seemed to melt by degrees. I was waiting for surgery on it so was thrilled!

I forgot to add that our doc said that ezcema breaks down the skin (scratching, splitting) and enables the wart virus to surface. Get rid of the ezcema, get rid of the warts. The cutivate cream does work. I wish I had taken pics to prove this. Please keep in mind that Ryan's ezcema seems to improve thru winter months, but if this is a coincidence, I would be highly suprised. We struggled thru this last year without cutivate and had few results!!!!

Ryan had terrible outbreaks of cluster warts where he had bad eczema. We used locoid cream, but it was discoloring his skin and wasn't helping anything...he looked really bad. We were considering burning off the big clusters from his legs because they were embarrassing to him at school. We tried a new doctor and he prescibed cutivate cream. It is a godsend, AWESOME. We used it sparingly for about 4 months and every wart is gone, eczema is gone, I couldn't not be happier for Ryan. TRY IT!

People with genetic eczema:

Please try this:

Take 50 mg of Zinc orally per day.

Chelated Zinc is preferred.

You can purchase this cheap at any vitamin store.

This treatment has put my eczema into remission.

Restrictions:
Do not do this if you are pregnant.

Also, you may want to start taking a multi-vitamin
as well.

If you try my Zinc treatment, please report the results (and your case history) to me.

-Mitch.

Hi everybody,
This's regarding warts n eczema.Except laser removal, homeopathy works well for warts. There are few medicines(I'm not a doctor, just telling these names from my child's prescription)like THUJA OCCIDENTALIS200,CAUSTICUM200,of which the 1st one can be applied locally(you may get thuja ointment from any homeo shop) or even taken as medicine, once a week.
Whatever you use, keep it in mind that they take time to go away.
good luck
Jina

My son had the same thing. We saw a little wart like thing on his wrist, took him in to the dermitologist and he diagnosed him with molluscum. It is wart related, and kids with Eczema are more likely to get it than other kids. Also kids with eczema are more likely to have the molluscum spread, and or last for a really long time. A lot of doctors wont do anything about it because it will eventually go away on its own, but like I said, they can spread and they are contagious. Our doctor put a blistering agent on the bump and said that it should go away in a week or so, but it still can spread. My doc also said that if my son scratches it we can put a bandaid on it.

I have only just discovered that people with atopic eczema are more likely to develop other skin conditions, such as cold sores and common hand warts. My 2 yr old son has many of these little warts on both wrists, does anyone know of a safe wart removal cream etc for children.

People with eczema seem to be prone to something called "molluscum contagiousa" or something like that, which are basically small wart-like objects (do a search on this site for "molluscum, I seem to remember somebody having mentioned this before) (either skin coloured or slightly paler with a small indentation in the middle).

I used to have a number of them on my face around my eyes, I had them removed by a surgeon (it's quite painful). What you can try is slightly damaging them - if you poke them with something like a cocktail stick (using just enough pressure before it starts to hurt) then that seems to make them go away - they will become inflamed first for about a week but then heal up leaving no scar. The worst thing you can do is squeeze them - if you do this enough to make them bleed badly, there is likely to be a scar there forever - I have a lot of scars from where I used to squeeze them. If in doubt, check with your doctor.

sorry, not my armpits, but my elbows....

Hi there!
My eczema concetrates in both my armpits. Strangely enough only in my right armpit and left had warts appeared. they're all different sizes but they seem to be growing. The biggest ones are the size of a matchend and the smallest ones the size of a grain.
How can I get rid of them? Do I have to freeze them off?

Hi All,

My daughter has developed a wart on her wrist and won't leave it alone, she scratches it until it bleeds. As she has really bad eczema on her hands I put bandages on to stop her scratchind but don't know if it is a good idea to cover warts,I don't want it spreading into the other cuts and grazes she has on her hands . Does anybody have any experience of warts and eczema? I have made an appointment to see my gp but that is nor until Monday.
