try nettle tea bags on your eyes before bed and then put on some badger balm (For hardworking hands!). Its really soothing.

Hello,
I have the same problem and wonder if it is the washing powder or the pillow or if you use hair products sleeping on your hair. My tends to be on one side more than the other although it changes so perhaps it's affected by which side you sleep on? It's so frustrating I know.

Hey, I had the same problem always rubbing my eyes when I was asleep and waking up with red irritated eyes. I found having rescue remedy before I when to sleep was brilliant.

I have had this problem for years. Always happens in the winter months. I think I must rub my eyes when asleep. Dont know what causes it but its certainly not my bedding. I tend to blame the central heating but Im not sure.

Could you be allergic to what bedding you sleep on what pillow you use. For example does your pillow contain feathers if so change it. Also you could try washing your bed clothes above 60 degrees to kill dust mites. I also dont have cuddly toys or scatter cushions on my bed to minimise the amount of dustmites on my bed. I dont know if any of this might help. Good luck

I have the same problem and have found no solution. Rubbing olive oil in to my face softens my skin allot, it may be worth a try. I also used allergy eye drops in the morning and they calm them down.
