Not alone

Not alone

I never suffered from eczema as a child, but when I was around 13 I started to get it around my left nipple.I tried herbal medicine, creams ointments, I changed my diet but nothing worked. My GP referred me to a dermatologist, by the time I was seen it started to appear on my other nipple too. I then had a biopsy and the dermatologist told me it was eczema. She prescribed me protopic ointment and within weeks it was gone! I am now 16 and have no eczema at the moment although I do get odd patches on my eyes from time to time. Its so nice to know that I'm not alone and there are others with the same condition . Thanks for setting up this site!
