diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM)

Postby gezzalou88 » Wed Aug 20, 2014 2:15 pm

I have just finished my patch testing and I have discovered I am allergic to nickel, PPD, urea preservatives and a chemical called diaminodiphenylmethane.

The first three I have found significant information for me to be able to avoid these going forward however there seems to be very little information regarding diaminodiphenylmethane although the doctor said it is in some shoes.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with an allergy to diaminodiphenylmethane and how have you managed to avoid it?
