Hi, I'm Arun!!!

As you can tell I'm a fully qualified typist with excellent PC skills!! I first had eczema at about 4 months. I started to scratch the side of my face and the front of my legs. The folks put socks on my hands but it wasn't long before I could take them off. Besides it made me hot - didn't they realise what they were doing? The side of my face improved but my legs were still itchy and my neck started to cause me grief. Night times were bad. My parents put me in suits which covered my hands and feet. But I became hot and didn't sleep very well.

Occasionally they gave me a sedative which tasted really nasty - I'd just throw-up! But then my parents started to mix the sedative in with my milk so I would sleep longer. I used to love scraping against the carpet with my legs. Mom and Dad were determined to make me walk early. As soon as I could walk, around 10 months, great! - forget the carpet - I'm off exploring! Things looked up and my skin was largely clear. However in the recent months it's got a little itchy again. This time in the creases on my arms and legs. My neck is fine. I've been to a homeopath and he gave me some acupuncture and some cream. We all think it's made a difference but the jury is still out.

Along the way Mum and Dad have argued about my diet - should it be dairy free or not. I'll update you on this when they've decided. It's a wonder they're still together !! Never mind the tooth fairy I think my Dad is the nail fairy. You know when I wake up the scratch just ain't the same. My dad's been in while I've been asleep and filed my nails. I'll get him back when I'm older.

Anyway things are ok now, I suppose. They've actually cut the ends off the same baby grow that made me hot - I sleep in it now. Everyone is a little less stressed these days - which helps!! You take care for now and look after yourselves. God bless - Arun.
